Nico,
For me, the ARP filter (with the moog after) is the best filter of the ATC-X!!! it isn't as warm as the moog, but you make some FANTASTIC raw sounds. YOU NEED IT !!!!
Regards,
Slump
p.s. did I ever tell that the ATC is wonderful ?

SE,
I most say that after looking for a synth with personal style I found what I was looking for in London. The affection started immediately and has turned out to be a love affair. My older Virus C have bean liberated for many sound duties now. I exchange it when I can afford to buy an Omega 8...? Thanks for a superb product.

I'm a producer from Detroit and I use the ATC-X and an SE-1. I love these synths!!!!! In fact they are the only synths I basically use. My other digital synths just sit around most of the time. These are a MUST have for all Hip Hop producers! If you want a Parliament/Funkadelic bassline or a Dr Dre G-whistle there are only 2 choices a moog or Studio Electronics! I'm saving my cash for the Omega 8!

Hello Greg,
I've just bought an ATC-X. This is really a fantastic machine! The sound is amazing.
I have some analog synth, a CS20M (yahama - great bass), a SiXtrack from Sequential circuit..and since I have the ATCX, I spend all my time on it. First, I hesitate to buy an ATCX, for the price with French Taxes (20% more), and when I saw a web site with several patches of the ATC in mp3 format, ready for listening...I was interested. After listening to the patches, It was really sure that it was the sound I was looking for. You should know this web site, I'll give you the adress:
membres.lycos.fr/sounddesignfr/auditoriumatc1 Sorry for my bad english.
Sincerely yours,
Nicolas BORNE - Paris, FRANCE
p.s. Do you know that French Electronic Band CASSIUS (Virgin) and VITALIC (Gigolo Records) use an ATC-1 for their productions?

Got my ATC-X/Quad working, and used it in a live setting this weekend with great success. Ahhhh - back to the oooeeyy gooey big bottom sound I love....what a blast to play live! My Drummer was transfixed when I pulled the rack covers off - he was blown away by the new look (and he's seen my old ATC-1 many times). I myself was surprised by the coolness of the blue - was expecting orange. Must say the new icons help more than I expected - Sometimes I don't have a midi-controller, so I have to quickly find the freq button and grab 'the knob' for filtersweeping on leads.
The arp filter is really cool - and the internal selector makes it all worthwhile. Haven't used the new ringmod or distortion much - maybe when you guys come out with a set of patches.
One happy customer,
