 From $6499
Eight sinewave generators for Oscillator 1, and the new Filter Control Section, which allows sweeping and tweaking the discrete filter types in real time, set this NovaMusik-partnered Omega Series Synth apart from our beloved standard issue Omega 8. Innovative switch routings in the FCS also contribute to the CODE's expressiveness via momentary control of assignable parameters, and full panel control—secluded behind veils of edit windows in the Omega—of the auto-triggering External Audio Input, jack you wholly into the synth's processing and punctuating power. OD model includes a per-voice fixed overdrive circuit for necessary but subtle aggression and tonal complexity.

All models are available in an "OD" version. Translation: warm and fuzzy classic analog amp overdrive installed on each stereo voice. A four-voice option is also available ($4449). As with the Omega 8, the CODE is powered by S.E.M. and Mini filters, which are standard, 128 Multimode patches, 512 Factory Presets. Thrown into the mix are the highly percussive Theriot ($39 sold separately) and versatile Cadix ($39 sold separately) banks—a serious value and thrilling jumping off point for programmers and sound selectors alike. Cadix co-designed w/cool Catero Colbert & SE's own Brian Scroggins.

CODE Black / CODE Blue front panel color schemes standard. Pantone-matched colors and custom art available upon request (legacy "Enigma Edition" above).

Filter Control Section

Sweep through all the filter types and modes: Low Pass, Band Pass, High Pass & Band Reject, in real time. Access 6 other key filter tweaks via the switch matrix.

1 - 8 Chnl. Filterbank

Replay / rethink a retro mono mix through the C.O.D.E.'s auto triggering external input processor, or slam up to 8 of the Ins. Assignable envelope 3 knobs make it hands-on.

8 "Sines" for OSC 1

ARP Odyssey-esque sinewave sweetness where once cruel and tyrannical, triangle waveforms ruled. Think: purity of tone remaining constant; in every sonic situation.

VOICE ARCHITECTURE
VCOs:
Two voltage controlled discrete analog oscillators, one sub wave of Oscillator 1, waveforms: sine (OSC 1), triangle, sawtooth and variable width square; simultaneous waveforms output; syncing of Osc 2 to Osc 1.
VCFs:
Two voltage controlled discrete analog filters: 12 db (classic Oberheim® style) hard-wired into voice board; 24db (classic Moog® style) in docking slot 1; 2 additional filter docking slots; 2 and 3 can host our classic Roland® 303, Arp® 2600, and Yamaha® CS-80 styled, all hardware filters; 12db filter modes: low pass, bandpass, high pass and band reject. Filters do not operate in series or parallel. Each voice can access all four filters.
Envelopes:
Three multiple stage envelope generators: attack, decay, sustain and release with inverting and multiple triggering; additional delay, decay 2, and breakpoint parameters for envelopes 1 and 2; assignable 3rd envelope with up to three destinations and depths. Envelope 1 fixed to filter frequency. Envelope 2 fixed to amplifier level. Envelope 3 knobs also can control the external inputs.
LFOs:
Three low frequency oscillators, waveforms: triangle, sawtooth, reverse sawtooth, square, noise, random; three destinations and depths each for LFOs 1&2, with range, delay, key trigger, phase, mode (mono or poly), quantize, midi sync. LFO3 fixed to voice panning.
Glide:
Linear or exponential, parameters: time, mode (auto, legato, glissando), autoglide interval, dynamics, destination.
Unison Mode:
One, two, four, six, or eight voices depending on voice configuration.
Multi Mode:
Prepared: one MIDI channel, up to eight different patches (synths); split: set point; layer: 4-4; multi: channelize up to 8 patches (synths).
Additional Features:
Oscillator 2 audio frequency modulation, destinations: OSC 1 frequency, OSC 1 pulse width, filter frequency; white noise generator; auto triggering external input processor on each voice, parameters: input level, trigger level, mix level, window.
Modulation Destinations:
LFOs 1, 2 and envelope 3: VCO 1 and 2 frequency, pulse width, and mix level, VCF frequency and resonance, noise level, Xmod amount, LFOs 1 and 2 rate and depth, VCA level, external mix level.
